The VW Amarok has become a great hit with tradies as the first real European commercial utility to be sold in Australia. The base model has an RCD310 radio that does not have to option to add aftermarket features as the unit is not equipped with a color screen. Rather than retro-fit the RCD510 to allow a camera to be fitted, Automotive Integration now offers both the dealers and the public another option. For less than fitting the OEM option, Automotive Integration will fit the Alpine IVE-W530ABTi touch screen with DVD, iPod control, Bluetooth and USB. The unit is also up-gradable to navigation by fitting an additional module (NVE-300MP). This vehicle was fitted with the screen and camera but no navigation. With the use of Alpine's Perfect Fit Solutions, the dash kit and CAN data harness make this a plug and play installation. Only running the camera, microphone and iPod cable take the bulk of the time in this installation.
