Always know where your car is! The MAPS tracking solution from Automotive Integration.

The growing number of car-jacking incidents has led Automotive Integration to partnership itself with a world leader of tracking technology and release the MAPS platform. The Monitored Asset Protection System allows an owner to view their vehicle's location from a smart phone or computer anywhere in the world. The most common source of prestige vehicle theft is when an owner is away on vacation and their house gets burgled. The thief finds the car keys and simply drives the car away. Unfortunately, the owner does not know the car has been stolen until they return, which is usually too late for the authorities to have any chance of recovering the vehicle. With the MAPS product, a "Geo Fence" is established around the vehicle's location while you are away and if there is any movement outside this 10 meter perimeter, the system will automatically alert a control room who will in turn contact the police. The technology is state of the art utilising both GPS and GPRS (3G) platforms and is global. This means that if your pride and joy was stolen and placed in a shipping container to be sent overseas, as soon as the doors on that shipping container open at the destination, the vehicle will immediately pop up on the tracking platform. This can considerably reduce an insurance premium for rare and exotic cars. The product is also popular with fleet management and infrastructure protection. There is a software package included with the monthly monitoring fee that will allow reports to run showing locations visited, duration at locations and speeds of vehicles.

The return of an old friend - The Ferrari F430 spider radio upgrade by Automotive Integration.

This F430 was brought to me several years ago at my previous company for a custom navigation console. While these  pictures seem to pop up on many other websites, the owner can confirm that I made this one of a kind center  console with the assistance of Gary Blackman, master trimmer. The owner  managed to track me down at Automotive Integration to have the audio system tweaked. We removed the original Becker CD tuner and replaced it with an Alpine CDE-135BTi CD tuner with Bluetooth, USB, V-Tuner and many more features. This new source was integrated into the Ferrari amplifier creating an impressive result far better than the original system,
