Automotive Integration has developed a front integrated camera system for the new Aston Martin Garmin platform the will allow the driver to see the front carbon fiber diffuser while parking. This protects against the costly damage of parking bollards that can split a diffuser on impact. Both the front and rear camera systems have been developed in house in conjunction with the local Aston Martin distributor. The system is retrofitted using a reputable German aftermarket manufacturer of quality Bluetooth in-car systems. The system functions with ease while respecting the aesthetics of the vehicle (dependant on phone compatibility). Caller ID display and phone book support can be accessed on a separate screen.

The AIS integrated camera system will seamlessly stream a 170° high resolution image into the factory navigation screen. With the ability to retrofit front and rear camera systems on both the first generation and the new second generation (Garmin) platforms, any combination can be accommodated. A discrete, soft touch button allows the front camera to be activated preventing costly damage to the front spoiler when parking near concrete ledges and bollards. When the reverse gear is engaged, the navigation screen switches over to the rear camera image regardless of what source is being displayed at that time. These front camera systems can be added to any pre-existing factory rear system. Only the highest quality cameras and harnesses are used and fitted to comply with Aston Martin’s high standards.
