Always know where your car is! The MAPS tracking solution from Automotive Integration.

The growing number of car-jacking incidents has led Automotive Integration to partnership itself with a world leader of tracking technology and release the MAPS platform. The Monitored Asset Protection System allows an owner to view their vehicle's location from a smart phone or computer anywhere in the world. The most common source of prestige vehicle theft is when an owner is away on vacation and their house gets burgled. The thief finds the car keys and simply drives the car away. Unfortunately, the owner does not know the car has been stolen until they return, which is usually too late for the authorities to have any chance of recovering the vehicle. With the MAPS product, a "Geo Fence" is established around the vehicle's location while you are away and if there is any movement outside this 10 meter perimeter, the system will automatically alert a control room who will in turn contact the police. The technology is state of the art utilising both GPS and GPRS (3G) platforms and is global. This means that if your pride and joy was stolen and placed in a shipping container to be sent overseas, as soon as the doors on that shipping container open at the destination, the vehicle will immediately pop up on the tracking platform. This can considerably reduce an insurance premium for rare and exotic cars. The product is also popular with fleet management and infrastructure protection. There is a software package included with the monthly monitoring fee that will allow reports to run showing locations visited, duration at locations and speeds of vehicles.

Porsche 981 Boxster front park assist from Automotive Integration.

This 2013  Porsche 981 Boxster looks stunning in racing yellow. Soon after delivery, the owner of this vehicle realised that the downward swept front bar made forward parking a challenge.  The owner contacted their local Porsche dealer who in turn booked the car in with Automotive Integration. The task was to provide an aftermarket front park assist system that looked factory fitted. The AIS solution offer an audible beeper that speeds up as the object gets closer to the front of the car. When the final zone is reached, the beeper switches to a constant tone to alert the driver that they are now a distance of approximately 30 centimeters from the object. The system is operated via a soft touch button neatly hidden under the steering column. The sensors are located in the same positions as the factory fitted option.
