There has been a change to the VW RCD510 radio platform in the last 12 months. The manufacturer of the radio has deleted the plug on the rear of the head unit that allowed camera integration. Automotive Integration has designed a package to solve this issue for our clients. The Alpine IVE-W530ABTi media station coupled with Alpine's perfect fit solutions offers a great option. With Bluetooth phone, streaming, iPod control, MP3, CD, DVD and USB, this unit offers far more than the standard VW radio. The steering wheel controls fully function with this Alpine media station and the added micro camera covers the blind spots. The Alpine IVE-W530ABTi is also up-gradable to full navigation with an additional module.

One of our VW dealers sold this beautifully kept 2007 Toureg to a client and decided to add navigation and camera as part of the deal. We fitted the Zenec NC-2051D integrated navigation system with a replacement handle camera. The result was a system that look so factory that the dealer had to have a closer look to see that the Zenec system was an aftermarket option. Even the factory steering wheel controls work with the Zenec. The pictures below show how well the Zenec system integrates.
