The Skoda Octavia wagon is a deceptively  long vehicle. Judging the distance of the rear of this vehicle was made even harder by that fact that car had no rear park assist of any type. Automotive Integration solved this problem by providing the client with a retro fit rear view camera system. The rear camera was incorporated in a replacement tailgate handle retaining the factory look and functionality of the tailgate release. The 170° wide angle view is auto switched to the factory Columbus screen via a data video interface. this gives a clear view of things behind the car and covers the blind spots of the mirrors.
