The Ferrari California is one of my personal favourites when it comes to an all-rounder GT performance car. Whilst sporting a hard-top convertible and a front mounted V8, the California makes no sacrifices with comfort or luxury.

The specifications speak for them self: 4.3-litre direct-injected V8 engine that sends 490 horsepower (365Kw) and 372 lb-ft. of torque to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. This V8 is capable of propelling the California from zero to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds.

The owner of this particular vehicle approached us to find a rear view camera solution as the rear viability is limited over the high rear deck of the car. Automotive Integration managed to find a solution that is almost identical to the factory system in every way apart from the costly rear bar replacement. The original rear bar was retained and a small, flush mounted, 170° high definition lens was mounted in the factory position. The image is auto switched to the Ferrari screen with a crisp, wide angel view of all that is behind the vehicle. The AIS module even brings the camera option up in the the menu of the radio.
