Code Safe is a new kind of immobilizer on the market that instead of using a key fob or proximity sensor to confirm the identity of the driver, it uses a very simple keypad design that the driver can access quickly and easily. Simply enter your code, and the car will start. Featuring automatic arming and programmable codes, Code Safe is definitely something to look at when protecting your car.
The keypad is unobtrusive and has an OEM look to it, making it blend in to the rest of the car. However, it also serves as a visual deterrent, as thieves are less likely to attempt to steal a car that they can visibly see has an immobilizer. The installation and electrical design mean that even if someone removes or cuts the keypad cable, the car still won’t start.
