The Mini Cooper S Coupe seems a relatively small car. Despite this, the  R58 Coupe with its hatch back, actually has rather poor rear visibility.  The AIS system for Mini,  fully integrates into the factory navigation system in the center speedometer display. The image is automatically displayed in place of the rear sensor image still allowing the audio of the sensors to work in conjunction with the camera image. This means the client can see behind the car while still having an audible distance reference. This is an excellent safety and convenience feature.

Mini Cooper cabrio smart top roof controller

​While the mini has the ability to open the top from the factory key, the driver cannot close it from the same key. With the SmartTOP module, the driver can not only close it from the key but can also single  tap the switch in the car and the roof mechanism will open to the sunroof position or double tap for the roof to fully open. This means no longer will the driver have to pull over and hold the switch until the roof has finished it's operation. The SmartTOP will allow the roof to operate while the car is moving up to a preset speed. In all, SmartTOP is all about convenience.
