Alpine has spent a great deal of time developing the Perfect Fit Kit solutions (PFK) for numerous vehicles. One of the more challenging cars was the Holden VE Commodore due to the HVAC (Heating, ventilation and air conditioning) being incorporated into the same center panel as the factory radio. The solution was to develop a replacement HVAC control unit as part of the PFK package. The result is that the manual controls are now replaced with a touch screen display with digital read out. The entire package makes the INE-Z928Ei look at home in the center console. The rear view camera hides under the rear handle ledge and is an added safety feature on a station-wagon that has limited rear visibility.
