For many years now, our clients have been asking for a rear view camera solution for the Porsche 911 and Boxster/Cayman platforms. Automotive Integration is proud to announce that it has successfully completed testing of the new camera interface for the PCM 3.1 media screen system. This interface is a fully self contained module and harness package that is literally plug and play meaning the factory harnesses do not need modifications. This should give the vehicle's owner peace of mind to with regards to the new car warranty. The Image is auto switched to the factory screen via CAN data detected by the interface. Automotive Integration also has a camera interface available for the earlier 911 (997) and Boxster/Cayman (987) system known as PCM 2.1.

The Audi 5 door Audi A5 is a deceptively long car with the rear swept hatch back offering great convenience at the expense of visibility. The client approached Automotive Integration to provide a rear view camera system that integrate into the factory MMI screen. This system provides a 170° view with a fixed grid for reference. The system is neat and functional with a replacement handle camera under the hatch.

Automotive Integration is working on a new version that will soon offer predictive path guidelines sensing steering angles.
